Worrying about needing to stick to one life purpose? Here is how to get yourself unstuck.

We all have a life purpose, we just have to find it. Isn't that the most frequent quote we can find on social media? There is however a huge mistake hidden in this quote that we often do not recognise at first. And that is, there are so many life purposes that we have! Almost always we just get fixated on the one role, one purpose that we must find, usually related to our career. But we actually  have so many purposes that we are not aware of. The purpose of being someone's son or daughter, being a partner, friend, teacher, parent, business partner and list can go on. Those are all equally important roles, please keep that in mind. You are so much more than your job.

Also, another stigma around the life purpose related to career is that we all ''need'' to do one thing until the rest of our lives. If we got educated in one specific area, we are doomed to be that tiny little thing out of whole spectrum of self expression for the entire life. We are then labelled as an economist, medical doctor, pharmacist, hair dresser or an actor, and if we decide to change our trajectory, society tends to judge this. How ridiculous is that?! Just because in your early 20s you were passionate about one thing, doesn't mean that 5, 10 or 30 years later you can't change your mind. There are of course people who were lucky enough to find themselves in one particular thing and pursue that for their whole life because they love it. But equally amazing is to allow yourself to change your mind, because you simply can. You always have that freedom to choose again, to express yourself in whatever way you wish to. Don't get discouraged by other people's negative opinion, those are just their own limiting beliefs. If they were living their best life, they would always support you. Because that is what fulfilled people do, they support and share. They don't judge.

Enjoy in the full spectrum.

With gratitude,
Natalija
